The app is super fast, very clean, and extremely accurate. It does what it claims to perfectly, and I couldnt imagine a better designed app. Not only is it well worth the $2, even though there are a couple free alternatives, but it is easily worth a fair bit more. No more having to tell the device to take a picture; you simply start the app, wave the device over the bill, and it immediately announces the denomination. If you have an iPhone 4, the backlight will be automatically turned on as needed. Dont even give it a second thought; just buy the app. YOU wont regret it.

I just tried it with the few bills I had in the house and it worked perfectly. Im using an iPod Touch, and was indoors with lights on, and it was still very quick and accurate! Very nice job!

Well worth the price. Yes even if I had to buy it at the new price. Its the best money reader Ive ever used.

Every single rating is five stars? Slow down, folks. I didnt have a hundred dollar bill to check (Im married) so I pulled one up on Google Images and POW, a genuine one hundred dollar bill sitting behind glass on my screen. Since I couldnt get to it I printed it out and, whattya know, it was still a one hundred dollar bill! According to this app, its totally real. I know that sounds sarcastic, but dont get carried away when you use this thing. The existing expensive dollar bill readers do a pretty good job of identifying fakes. This thing is happy with an oversized ink jet picture. This reader requires trust. Keep that in mind and youll be tickled pink with this app. Its quick. Its three to four stars. Its a keeper.

I have to agree with the others its worth getting but in your first Version the looktell default voice was ok. Could you guys have a feature that asks if u want VoiceOver or the other? other then that awesome app Im happy too with the app keep up the good work

I am totally blind and find that this application is terrific. I am not all bothered by the disclaimer that states that the app makes no representations as to the authenticity of the bills Why? Blind people are very astute and can easily discern when they are handed bills that are not real. Real American currency is made from cotton and has a certain unmistakeable texture that is very difficult to simulate. This app increases the independence of blind persons who no longer require assistance in identifying bills. Sarah J. Cripps, Esquire.

Im not happy with the changes

This app is a must-have for a blind iPhone user the developer listens to people that use this app and makes modifications to it regularly it is a must-have I strongly recommend buying it

I am happy to say that since my original review, I am happier with this app than I was when I reviewed it originally. The response time is faster and more precise. No longer do I have to worry about inserting a dollar bill into an iBill. Thank you for fixing the bugs. This is worth the money.

We just compared eyenote to looktel money reader. Hands down looktel is superior. Questioned the 9.99 price but after using it we all said, "now that is great technology". Its worth 10 bucks. So fast and forgiving. Dont waste time with eyenote (free, developed by gov agency) - you get what you pay for. Way to go looktel. Give us blind users more apps.

Reliable and fast easy to use

This app is a great app, but the only major problem I have with it is that it is a major battery killer. Every minute that I used this app, it drains the battery about 1% on my iPhone 4S.

this app deserves much more than five stars. It is fast and accurate.
